Top Luxury Hotels in China:The Opposite House(瑜舍)(Beijing)

**One of my friends in hospitality industry told me, she never said so many 'WOWs" when visiting a hotel, except the Opposite House.

Newly opened in 2008 (Aug 11), the Opposite House may be the most expensive hotel in Beijing for both average rates and the lowest rate, its rack rate is from CNY5,750 to CNY6,900(about USD 840-USD1008). Much higher than the world famous brands as Ritz Carlton, The Westin and the Regent and so on. Only one may be its competitor as referring to price, the Pangu 7 Star Hotel with a stone's throw away from the Olympic Park.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the capital city, quite near Sanlitun Bar Street(about 1.5km) and with only 6.7 km from the Forbidden City.
The Opposite House is designed by a famous Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma. It is a perfect combination of modern sense with traditional Chinese decor. All the 98 studios( from 45sqm to 115sqm) in the hotel featured with natural wooden floor, green glasses and the most luxurious bathrooms. In a hectic cosmopolitan, the hotel will be a haven for quietness and relaxation.

Before visiting or staying the hotel, let's share some photos.

The Opposite House is a member of the Swire Hotels Aisa, which is a collection of small, intriguing urban hotels.
